The two pictures above feature a kitchen built for a keen cook, to her design and specification. The central island is crafted from American white oak, and is topped with black granite. The one and a half bowl china sink with traditional French mixer tap completes the food preparation area. Counter tops are solid American white oak, with a butlers sink fitted adjacent to the dishwasher, creating independent work areas. A full-height larder in this kitchen was deemed a must, with plenty of storage space. The door is oak, with a hand crafted stained glass panel. Flooring is strip oak.
